Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to welcome author Libba Bray for an afternoon of discussion. One of the brightest lights in the young adult book world, Libba Bray is the author of the best seller Beauty Queens, the Printz award winner Going Bovine, and the wildly-popular Gemma Doyle Trilogy. In this visit to Santa Monica, Libba celebrates the release of her latest novel, The Diviners, the first book in a trilogy set in 1920s New York and starring Evie O'Neill, a young woman thrust into the bustling world of speakeasies, Ziegfeld Girls and a rash of occult-based murders. This program is co-presented by Children's Book World. A book sale and signing will follow. Free tickets for this event will be released one hour prior to the program. One ticket per guest and guest must be present to receive a ticket.
