Firefighters Knock Down House Fire In Santa Monica
The fire damage left the home on Sixth Street uninhabitable, firefighters said.
SANTA MONICA, CA — A home in Santa Monica was left uninhabitable by a fire, but no one was injured, a fire department official said Friday.
The fire was reported at 2:09 p.m. Thursday at a two-story home at 2634 Sixth Street, Santa Monica Fire Department Capt. Patrick Nulty said.
The department sent 31 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames in about 17 minutes, Nulty said.

The fire damage left the house uninhabitable, authorities said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, he said.
