The Giving Tree

“Inspired by Shel Silverstein’s famous story, the Los Angeles Children’s Theater’s “The Giving Tree: The Play” is a story about childhood and adulthood, about giving and receiving, about dreams, and disappointment, and about innocence and guilt. We experience through music, dance, and gestures how as we move through the seasons of life, age, change and take on new identities, and learn the meaning of our interrelationship and interconnectivity to nature and our planet.

Performing on Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm, with a running time of around 35 minutes, “The Giving Tree: The Play”, is a perfect gift to give to the “young at heart”.
