Join us at Essentia - Natural Memory Foam Mattresses showroom for the opening night of our newest exhibit featuring the works of acclaimed Hollywood photographer George Hurrell.
George Hurrell was the most important photographer during the peak years of Hollywood's development of photography as an art form parallel to film production, from 1929 - 1946. His original works represent the period of technical innovation and visual sophistication that in essential respects created the vocabulary of glamour for the rest of the world.
In conjunction with the opening night festivities, there will be a book signing party featuring Mark Vieira author of George Hurrell's Hollywood: Glamour Portraits 1925 - 1992 and Virginia Postrel author of The Power of Glamour: Longing and the Art of Visual Persuasion.
