Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra Board Appoints Santa Monica Residents

The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra Board of Directors appointed Santa Monica residents Marc Hayutin and Eugene Ohr as its newest members, according to a press release. Hayutin is head partner at Sidley Austin’s Los Angeles Real Estate Group and Ohr is senior vice president and investment analyst at the Capital Group Companies.

“Marc and Eugene are both highly successful and forward-thinking professionals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout their careers, as well as deep commitment to LACO's continued success,” said LACO President Eugene K. Shutler in a press release.

Hayutin is also the co-global coordinator for his firm’s global Real Estate Practice Area Team. He’s been recognized by various legal publishers for his experience in strategic counseling for real estate litigation matters. He also serves as a board member for Skid Row Housing Trust, which provides housing and support for the homeless.

As a Chartered Financial Analyst, Ohr’s generalist coverage spans to Korea and Australia. Currently, he also serves as vice president of First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica’s financial committee. He was drawn to classical music at the age of six and continues his love for it through his daughters Isabella and Olivia.

The 45-year-old LACO has earned eight awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers for its “adventurous programming.” Check out the website for more information.
