Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce is Proud to Announce the Kickoff of Its First Ever Hack The Beach
Hack The Beach:Finalists

Santa Monica, Ca – Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce our first-ever Hack The Beach on November 3, 2015, from 6pm to 8pm at Cross Campus, 929 Colorado Ave, Santa Monica. Hack The Beach is a series of micro-festivals bringing together Santa Monica’s best tech innovators with local civic leaders. This time, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City of Santa Monica, Santa Monica Pier, Expert DOJO, General Assembly, WeWork, Downtown Santa Monica and Cross Campus to introduce this fresh from the oven event. The focus of the event is the Hack The Beach: Contest which allows anyone in the community to submit proposals for apps, ideas, processes, and/or technology to help Santa Monica improve our sense of community, mobility, and civic engagement. The finalists with the best applications will be revealed and have the opportunity to present their ideas during the event.
“We are excited and hope that through this event, businesses, leaders and tech innovators can come together and come up with creative and innovative ideas on improving the city of Santa Monica .” said Laurel Rosen, President and CEO of the Santa Monica Chamber.
