Santa Monica Dirt: Biking from Montana

Montana Avenue is the newest member of the Santa Monica bike share system Breeze. Located right outside of Groundworks LA on the corner of Montana + 16th is the shiny fleet of bright green bikes. Although still a skeptic (check out my November 2014 blog), I am curious to see how the program shapes up.

There is one new listing in the flats of 90402. 718 10th Street is a tear down near Montana Avenue that will probably sell very quickly, way over the list price. At $2.6 million, for what appears to be a non-controversial bulldozer ready property, all the usual bidders will make a run at it. Its proximity to Montana Avenue results in a great walk score and it’s only 10 blocks away from the beach.

In keeping with the true end of summer slowdown, There have been no new sales so far this week.
