Just after 6 p.m. on May 26, officers responded to the second home- invasion robbery, in which one victim suffered multiple stab wounds and another suffered injuries from being struck with a blunt object, according to police.

The teenager barricaded himself in the rear yard of a nearby residence in the 200 block of 20th Street and was arrested with the assistance of police K-9 and SWAT officers, police said.

The second suspect fled the scene, but officers were able to gather information about the vehicle, including the license plate number, and alert surrounding law enforcement agencies.

Morgan was taken into custody about 10:30 p.m. May 26 after a vehicle stop by El Monte police in the 11200 block of Garvey Avenue.
