Santa Monica Police Investigate Shooting, Car Crash
Officials were asking residents to avoid an area of Santa Monica where a shooting that involved a traffic collision occured.
SANTA MONICA, CA — Police in Santa Monica were investigating a shooting that also involved a traffic collision, according to a statement.
Residents were asked to avoid the area of Kansas Avenue and Stewart Street while officers investigate, the Santa Monica Police department tweeted. No officers were involved in the shooting and no officers were injured, the department said.
No other details were immediately available.
