Traditional soft toys with a twist! Join artist Leslie Robinson to create a one-of-a-kind creature in this fun two-part class. In Session I, you will construct your choice of animal from a pair of socks or gloves. In Session II, finishing details, clothing and accessories are added. Basic sewing skills a plus, though not required. Patterns and inspiration are included in workshop fee.

Leslie Robinson has been crafty ever since she was a little girl, growing up in rural Illinois. She comes from a line of un-traditionally traditional creative types and has always been passionate about history and the arts. After graduating from University twenty years ago, she packed up a U-Haul and moved to Los Angeles. Inspired by the weather and the vibrant visual feast that is L.A., Santa Monica and Hollywood, she has continued to create under two guises: Hooray4lala (hooray4lala.blogspot.com) and Flapper Femme (flapperfemme.com).
