Spanish Fare Taberna Arros y Vi Debuts in Santa Monica

Owner Michael Cardenas with chef Verite Mazzola open their doors Wednesday night to give locals a taste of Spain with their latest restaurant Taberna Arros y Vi. 

Located at 1403 2nd St., tapas and paella are just a few offerings on the diverse menu made with locally grown ingredients.  

Enjoy happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m on weekdays in the shiny new lounge area or try Mazzola's creations in the spacious dining room decked out with brick walls, overhead sky lights and plush chairs. 

Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 to 11 p.m. on weekends.
