Area Reopens After Suspicious Package Found In Santa Monica
Nothing explosive was found in the package, police said.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Police say a sheriff's bomb squad has found there is nothing explosive in the suspicious package found in the 2400 block of Arizona Avenue in Santa Monica, and the area has been reopened.
The area was evacuated around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and residents were advised to avoid the area.
Police advised parents of students at nearby McKinley Elementary School to pick up their children from the side of campus on Santa Monica Boulevard and Chelsea Avenue due to the bomb squad investigation.
