A kick-off reception for the American Society for Yad Vashem’s 3rd annual gala dinner was held at the Beverly Hills residence of Dinner Chairs Edward and Elissa Czuker. The gala dinner slated for Monday, June 6, 2016 will honor two Holocaust survivors, award-winning producers Meyer Gottlieb (“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” “Master and Commander: Far Side of the World”) and Branko Lustig (“Schindler’s List,” “American Gangster,” “Gladiator”). The Hollywood Reporter will be honored for last fall’s landmark feature Holocaust story entitled “Hollywood’s Last Survivors.” The American Society for Yad Vashem (ASYV) was established 35 years ago by a group of Holocaust survivors, to advance the crucial efforts of Yad Vashem through Holocaust education, traveling exhibitions, programming for the next generation, and philanthropy.
