3.7-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southeastern San Diego County

The quake struck shortly before 5:30 p.m. Thursday, centered about 22 miles east of Pine Valley.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – A 3.7-magnitude earthquake rattled the far southeastern reaches of the San Diego area today. The temblor struck shortly before 5:30 p.m., centered about 22 miles east of Pine Valley and roughly a mile north of county Highway S2, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

No damage or injuries were reported.
