3-Year-Old Found Wandering in Santee Reunited With Parents
Sheriff's officials said the incident was not considered a crime.
SANTEE, CA: A 3-year-old boy wandering around in Santee was reunited with his parents Wednesday morning.
The toddler had apparently gotten out of his family's nearby home, shortly before he was spotted on Fanita Rancho Road near Todos Santos Drive, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's officials said the incident was not considered a crime.

"There was no foul play βΒ the child wasn't in any danger," sheriff's Lt. Eddie Brock told Patch.
The boy got away while his parents were busy with their other children, Brock said.

It was 8:30 a.m when someone called authorities to report the wandering child; by 8:40 a.m., the boy was reunited with his parents, the lieutenant said.
