AT&T Improves Cell Network in Santee
AT&T announces reduction in the dropped call rate in the San Diego area by 25 percent.

announced last week that they had made six upgrades to their cell phone network in Santee, reducing the dropped call rate and allowing for more data transfer in the city.
According to AT&T, $700 million was invested in its wireless and wireline networks in the San Diego area, including more than 1,075 wireless network upgrades since the beginning of 2011.
This has resulted in a reduction in the dropped call rate in the San Diego area by 25 percent, according to the company. In addition, AT&T officially launched 4G LTE service in the San Diego area on January 8.

AT&T has also launched the new focus: San Diego microsite, which is dedicated to providing San Diegans a bird’s eye view of these network enhancements.
