Big Carousel Coming To Parkway Plaza

In 2016, a new Big Carousel is returning to Parkway Plaza in El Cajon. It will draw so many families and more.

This new carousel will feature all Twenty 1926 Allan Herschell carousel horses from the “Old El Cajon Carousel” plus it will add two carousel otters, two carousel zebras, two carousel macaques, two carousel crows, two carousel cows, two carousel roosters and two carousel benches.

Michael Tierney, a local resident that loved the Old El Cajon Carousel is amazed, “Well I loved the 1926 Allan Herschell Carousel that was at the mall, and since it is coming back, it will draw more tourists and I think we’re going to be seeing a lot more of that, not only that, but the carousel is getting so big.”

The lease for the new carousel will begin in January 2016. It will be the third carousel at Parkway Plaza.
