"Southern California gas prices have averaged above $3.75 a gallon
since the beginning of March,'' said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California. "Those taking a road trip to other parts of the country won't find much relief there, either. No state except Arizona has gas price averages below $3.50 a gallon.''
