Job Summary:
Provide excellent customer service and maximize sales by assisting in the daily operation of the store.
Job Responsibilities:
* Interact with customers
* BE RELIABLE!
* Effectively operate a cash register.
* Keep an upbeat and energetic attitude.
* Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store or approach the cashwrap.
* Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management.
* Know store layout and merchandise histories to assist customers in their selection of product and be able to answer customer questions about the entire store.
* Assist other store employees in maintaining security in stores.
* Inventory, Research and Stock merchandise.
* Follow all company policies and cash handling policies.
* Inform management of any out of stock situations.
* Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays.
* Light lifting and being on your feet are both required.
* Perform related work as assigned.
* You may also be working with our online sales efforts.
* Must be able to follow instructions.
Knowledge/Skills:
* Good computer skills
* Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
* Proficiency in the operation of a cash register.
* High degree of interpersonal skills.
* Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a big plus
Education and Experience:
* High School Graduate or equivalent.
* Prior sales associate experience.
Job Details
* Weekly hours from 10 to 30
* Afternoons, evenings and weekends
* Training provided
* Many Shifts available
