Crews Work To Repair Broken Recycled Water Main In Santee

TRAFFIC ALERT: Crews are still working to fix a water main break on Mission Gorge Road Wednesday morning. Motorists should expect delays.

SANTEE, CA – Work continues on Mission Gorge Road Wednesday morning in Santee after a ruptured recycled water main flooded streets Tuesday evening.

The main break occurred on Mission Gorge Road between Fanita Drive and Carlton Hills, prompting officials to block off traffic and causing delays in both directions into the night.

Crews are still working to repair the 16-inch pipeline. Two lanes have been opened in each direction. Motorists should expect delays.
