Driver Crashes Into East County Starbucks
A driver stepped on the wrong pedal and plowed into an El Cajon Starbucks Friday.
EL CAJON, CA — No one was injured Friday after a driver stepped on the wrong pedal and plowed into an El Cajon Starbucks.
It happened about 9:30 a.m. at the Starbucks on Fletcher Parkway, according to Heartland Fire and Rescue.
A store window was shattered in the crash, and the wall beneath the window appears to be damaged, NBC7 reported from the scene.

The car sustained damage on the front-end as well as on the driver's side door and mirror.
El Cajon police say the Starbucks' staff plans to keep the store open.
