Grocery Outlet is the nation’s
largest grocery extreme-value retailer that offers extreme bargains on brand
name merchandise, with prices often up to 50% less than conventional retailers.
The grand
opening of Grocery Outlet in El Cajon will include free coffee and treats, free eco-frugal reusable bag for the
first 500 customers, free Spin & Win on the Wheel of Bargains prizes, free face
painting for kids, free play magic cart and more. Attendees
can enter to win one of three grand prizes from Saturday, April 19 through Friday, May 23rd. Grand prizes include a Vizio 39”
television, four San Diego Padres baseball tickets with four baseball hats and
jerseys, and a year’s worth of groceries (up to $600 value). The prize drawings will be held at 12:00 pm on
Saturday, May 24th at the El Cajon location.
In addition, attendees to the grand opening event can purchase a hot dog
and soda for $1, which the proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army El Cajon
Corps. Attendees can also meet their Frugal Friends Lois Prices and Ben Saven,
who have scheduled appearances throughout the day.
