Fire Sparks At Lakeside Apartment Complex
All residents were evacuated from the building during the early morning fire.

LAKESIDE, CA – Dozens of residents were evacuated Tuesday morning from a Lakeside apartment complex when a fire sparked in the two-story building.
The blaze broke out at 3:16 a.m. at the 10-unit complex near Lakeshore Drive and Channel Road. Firefighters arrived on scene to a "well-involved" fire in a downstairs unit, with flames extending upstairs, according to the Lakeside Fire Protection District.
All residents were evacuated from the building. Nobody was seriously injured in the fire, but at least four people, including at least two children, were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, 10News reported.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
A witness told 10News that a man burning a kerosene lamp accidentally sparked the blaze when the lamp fell over. The witness said the man suffered minor burns on his hands but left the scene before firefighters arrived.
