Golden Corral Coming To Fletcher Hills

FLETCHER HILLS, CALIF. -- Investors from El Cajon are erecting three new buildings, one housing a Golden Corral, one housing a McDonald’s, and the other will be housing an Indoor Amusement Park.

According to Yelp, Golden Corral will be located at Weld Boulevard in El Cajon, in the community of Fletcher Hills.

Right Now, the closest location is in the Imperial Valley city of El Centro, and two more closest locations in the Los Angeles area, City of Industry and Bellflower.

Golden Corral got its start as a family steakhouse in North Carolina in 1973,  and it has grown to more than 500 locations in more than 40 states.

In the 1980s, when salad bars were all the rage, the chain introduced a “buffet and grill” building design that evolved into the modern Golden Corral buffet floor plan.
