The Great Conjunction: Santee Photo Of The Day

SANTEE, CA — Patch reader Joshua Mount captured this photo of the "great conjunction" of Jupiter and Saturn, also known as the "Christmas Star." The picture was taken from Santana Street in Santee.

"This photo was taken with an Orion SpaceProbe 130ST EQ with 2x Barlow lens and 12.5mm plossl lens," Mount explained. "Looked amazing through the viewfinder. The photo was taken with my cellphone clamped to the lens."
