Letters: Let's Bring A Historic Carousel Back To El Cajon
Since Parkway Plaza no longer has a carousel, let's bring the first El Cajon carousel back, like maybe an adjacent park.
EL CAJON -- Since there is no more carousel at Parkway Plaza, let's bring a 1926 Allan Herschell carousel back to El Cajon, but perhaps at a nearby park.
Unfortunately, this carousel has been in storage for many years, and we need to save it from storage, or it will be torn down and gone for good.
This carousel was formerly at Parkway Plaza in El Cajon, CA. And then it got relocated to Elyria, OH. And then, it came into storage, with no mention why. Don't let cruelty ruin this carousel, we need to come up with a strategic plan and save the antique carousel from storage in Ohio and bring it back to El Cajon.

We can do this, we don't want cruelty to have this beautiful old El Cajon mall carousel to be torn down and gone for good. In fact, we to build a carousel building at a park to house the carousel in the city of El Cajon.
We need another carousel in El Cajon, so far there have been two carousels at Parkway Plaza, the first carousel was the one I'm talking about saving from storage, the second was a fiberglass double-decker carousel. But now, we have no more carousel at the El Cajon mall, so that's why we need the first El Cajon mall carousel back in San Diego's East County.
