A man was stabbed in the abdomen Monday morning on an El Cajon street.
EL CAJON, CA — A man was stabbed in the abdomen Monday morning on an El Cajon street.
The victim called dispatchers from the El Cajon Transit Center on South Marshall Avenue shortly before 5 a.m. to request help, according to El Cajon police.
When officers arrived, the man, whose name and age were not immediately available, told officers he had been stabbed on Marshall Avenue near Wagner Drive, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening, the newspaper reported.
