Motorcyclist Who Collided With Trolley in Santee Will Be Arraigned Today

A motorcyclist who collided with a trolley in Santee while allegedly trying to outrace a sheriff's deputy was scheduled to be arraigned at the El Cajon courthouse today.
Francisco Rogelio Roblero, 38, of Whittier, was admitted into the hospital following last Saturday's crash, then later booked into the San Diego County Jail on suspicion of felony evading peace officers, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies tried to pull over Roblero on westbound Mission Gorge Road for a traffic violation around 5 p.m. Saturday, sheriff's Sgt. Dave Martinez said.

"(He) sped away, and then crashed into a SDMTS (San Diego Metropolitan Trolley System) Trolley on the green line at the intersection of Mission Gorge Road and Cuyamaca Street," Martinez said.
No one else was injured.
