Photos: Cross-Chamber Mixer on the Tarmac

, a networking mixer for the Santee Chamber of Commerce and San Diego East Chamber, was held at Jet Air Systems on Thursday night.

Along with the chance to network, meander amongst the many commercial jets and classic aircraft at Jet Air, and sip on some tasty Manzanita beer, a few of the owners and operaters of Gillespie Field gave a presentation about building up businesses around the airfield- a concept they call an "aerotropolis."

With 209,345 flight operations, 964 based aircraft and the possibility of global access, Gillespie Field is pushing for more development.
