San Diego Under Armour Softball Factory Tryout

San Diego, CA The Under Armour Softball Factory National Tryout will take place in San Diego, CA on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Francis Parker School Field.  All athlete’s ages 13-18 are encouraged to attend. Players are asked to report to the field at 9 am for registration, and the event is scheduled to begin at 10 am. The registration fee is $99. During this event with Softball Factory, the Official Scouting Partner of ASA Softball, players will take part in a workout where they will perform for Softball Factory coaches who will evaluate them on speed, pitching, hitting and defense. Select players from the event will qualify for Under Armour Softball Factory National Teams or National Training events such as the Advanced Training and Competition at the World Cup, Under Armour Softball Factory National Showcase - Summer Classic, and the Under Armour Softball Factory SoCal Classic.  These events have been created to help players in their development as they move forward towards college. In addition, Softball Factory will provide players with tools to help families navigate the college recruiting process. 

After the event, all player evaluations will be submitted to ASA/USA Softball for consideration in their Junior National Team selection pool.  This is a great opportunity for players to get on the selection committee’s radar as they plan ahead for future USA Softball Junior National Teams.
