Santee Food Bank Seeks Support for Permanent Move

The Santee Food Bank has been a community contributor for the past 31 years! It is an all-volunteer organization providing emergency food supplies to Santee families in need. Currently, the agency serves approximately 600 families each month.

The Santee Food Bank is working to relocate their services to a larger permanent property. The new site will be more centrally located to the Santee client base and will double the available storage and distribution spaces. It is estimated that the move will cost nearly $75,000. This includes all of the anticipated expenses associated with the move including obtaining, moving, and installing three portable buildings, providing the necessary utilities connections, and obtaining required permits.
