New Animal Shelter Now Open for Santee Residents

Located Next Door in El Cajon

Exciting news…. Santee's animals just moved closer! The San Diego Humane Society has moved into the El Cajon Animal Shelter at 1373 N. Marshall Avenue.

Santee residents will continue to receive Humane Law Enforcement service and animal care from the San Diego Humane Society, but now at a much closer location.

The San Diego Humane Society now has four campuses, located in San Diego, El Cajon, Escondido, and Oceanside. Santee residents may utilize services at any of these locations but lost Santee animals will be housed in El Cajon.

The Humane Society offers many services, including dog licensing, pet adoptions, microchipping, support for low income pet families, and wildlife resources. Check out their website to see all that they have to offer.
