The City of Santee is requesting proposals for the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding during Program Year 2021 (July 2021 – June 2020). CDBG is a federally funded program administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Monies provided through the CDBG program can be used to fund a variety of public improvements and services that benefit low- and moderate-income residents.
During Program Year 2020 (July 2020 – June 2021) the City allocated $41,350 to providers of public services. It is unknown at this time what level of CDBG funding will be available to the City of Santee in Program Year 2021.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) and Applications for Program Year 2021 CDBG funds will be available December 11, 2020, and may be downloaded from the City’s website.
