Santee Sheriff's Station To Host 'Coffee With The Community'

SANTEE, CA — Community members have a chance to chat with personnel from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department during Coffee with the Community Tuesday in Santee.

"Community outreach is a top priority of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department," officials said in an event announcement. "Members of the community should feel comfortable bringing problems related to safety and security to our staff."

Attendees will be able to talk with deputies, senior volunteers and other staff from the Santee Sheriff's Station. Community members will also learn about crime prevention resources.

Coffee with the Community will take place from 8-9:30 a.m. at Coffee Corner at 235 Town Center Parkway.
