The San Diego Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) honored seven San Diego County Sheriff's Department deputies last month, including a deputy from the Imperial Beach substation.
Deputies honored with MADD's Outstanding DUI Office Award for arresting drunk drivers in 2013 were:
- David Toner - Encinitas station - 142 arrests
- Kenneth Werner - Vista station - 74 arrets
- Rosa Patron - Imperial Beach substation - 67 arrests
- William Price - Santee station - 53 arrests
- Kristy Drilling - San Marcos station - 50 arrests
- Austyn Elmone - Poway station - 40 arrests
- Jerry Jimenez - Lemon Grove station - 28 arrests
The awards were given at Town and Country Resort & Convention Center on March 25.
