Santee Summer Concert Series To Open With Patriotic Drone Show
Following the performance, 250 drones will light up the night sky in a patriotic aerial display.
SANTEE, CA — Santee's annual summer concert series returns Thursday, featuring live music and a patriotic drone show to launch the city's "Summer of 250" celebration.
The free concerts will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 13, except July 2, at Town Center Community Park East.
The opening concert will feature The Pistol Blonde, a country music group performing country hits by artists including Dolly Parton, Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood. Following the performance, 250 drones will light up the night sky in a patriotic aerial display.

In addition to live entertainment, the events will include family-friendly activities, food vendors and America 250-themed festivities.
Organizers encouraged attendees to carpool, walk, bike or use alternative transportation because construction of the Santee Community Center has limited parking and closed the YMCA footbridge. Additional parking will be available at Santana High School.
