SDSU Offers Professional Certificate in Grant Writing

SDSU is offering a Professional Certificate in Grant Writing online program this spring that helps students learn how to write proposals.

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies is offering a Professional Certificate in Grant Writing online program this spring that will help students learn how to write a flawless and compelling grant proposal that is crucial to securing available funding.

Why the need for grant writers? According to the 2013 State of Nonprofits Annual Report, San Diego is home to nearly 9,700 nonprofit organizations – from large educational institutions and hospitals to small startup agencies – and they all compete for grant funding.

The grant writing certificate program features two four-week online courses: Introduction to Grants and Funding Research taking place Jan. 5-Feb. 7 and Grant Proposal Development being Feb. 23-March 28.
