State Senator to Hold Holiday Open House in East County
Sen. Joel Anderson's annual event is planned for Dec. 7 in El Cajon.

EAST SAN DIEGO COUNTY -- State Senator Joel Anderson (R-Alpine), who represents much of inland San Diego County, including La Mesa, Santee and Lemon Grove, will hold his annual Holiday Legislative Open House from 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Toyota of El Cajon, 965 Arnele Ave., El Cajon.
The senator's office says the free event is an opportunity for he and his staff to meet with constituents and hear ideas on new legislation for 2017. All attendees will receive a 2016 legislative update and an opportunity to submit ideas to improve state government.
Anderson says several of the bills he has introduced in the past originated from suggestions by attendees of this annual event.
