AT&T Fiber Expands in San Diego Area

AT&T is now offering a 1 gigabit connection on 100% fiber network powered by AT&T Fiber to more homes, apartments and small businesses in the San Diego area, including in parts of Escondido, Santee and surrounding areas.

The San Diego area is one of 51 metros nationwide where AT&T's ultra-fast internet service is currently available. The company plans to reach at least 67 metros with the service.

“Our customers are increasingly interacting with their world in more data-intensive ways,” said Ignacio De La Torre, Area Vice President, AT&T External Affairs. “A growing number of people are streaming content directly from their devices, and interacting with family and friends through live videos. For these reasons, we’re continuing to expand the availability of our fastest internet speeds to more San Diego area communities.”

Internet-only pricing for customers who choose AT&T Internet 1000 starts as low as $80 a month with a 12-month commitment.
