Trial Date Could be Set for Former Santana High Coach
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for Thursday for a ex-Santana High School coach accused of having sex with a student.

SANTEE, CA - The legal case against a former Santana High School coach accused of having sex with a student could move closer to trial Thursday.
A pre-trial conference, where all parties will discuss the case and determine if a settlement can be reached, is scheduled for Thursday for Keith Silvia, a former track coach at Santana High School.
Silvia turned himself into the San Diego County Sheriff's deputies back in July.

Silvia, who also worked as a campus security supervisor, was charged with four misdemeanor counts of annoying/molesting a child under 18 years old andone felony count of arranging a meeting with a minor for the purpose of engaging in lewd acts.
The victim, whose name was protected, was described as a female 11th grader.
