Truck Overturns In El Cajon Multi-Car Crash
The crash was just after 2 p.m. in westbound lanes of I-8 near the freeway's junction with state Route 67.
EL CAJON, CA -- A truck rolled over in a multi-car pileup on Interstate 8 in El Cajon Sunday. The crash was just after 2 p.m. in westbound lanes of I-8 near the freeway's junction with state Route 67, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The truck ended up on its roof in the center divider. Four to five other cars were involved in the crash, Heartland Fire and Rescue spokesman Sonny Saghera said.
Saghera said he had no information on how many people were injured, but a CHP dispatch log indicated that an ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

Traffic was backed up in the area while the crash was being cleared up.
