View Finder: Santee Chamber of Commerce Shows Off at Its Monthly Mixer
With a newly remodeled building and the first public showing of this year's classic car to be raffled at the Car Show, the Chamber had reason to show off.

The Chamber parking lot was lit up, local caterer Big J's Barbecue was firing up tri-tip and pulled pork on their big red barbecue and supplied a wonderful cake, and in the middle of the hubbub sat a beauty of a Chevy.
This year's Santee Car Show raffle prize was recently driven down from Burbank and Lloyd's Collision & Paint Center has been spiffing it up since. Raffle tickets for the piece of classic Americana will be available as soon as they're printed- sometime in February.

It wouldn't be a Chamber event if there wasn't a ribbon cutting! That got the evening started right as Chamber members ate and mingled in the cozy remodeled office.
New Chamber members gave a spiel about what they do, including Alicia Kell with and Eric Goforth with . Representatives with the local that is being heavily remodeled also gave a heads up about the remodel opening on Feb. 25 and hints about a future Chamber mixer at the restaurant.
