Recognize This Car? Police Suspect It's Associated With Area Home-Invasion Robbery
Residents told police two robbers came into their Morgan Hill home and demanded they open the safe.
MORGAN HILL, CA - Police last Friday released photos of a vehicle connected to a March 14 morning home invasion robbery in Morgan Hill.
Around 9:30 a.m. on that Monday, officers responded to a report of a home invasion in the 17000 block of Rosemary Circle, police said.
Responding officers spoke with the victims, who reported two suspects went inside their home and demanded they open the safe. The robbers left in a dark silver car with an undisclosed amount of money and items, according to police.

The suspects claimed they had a weapon that the victims never saw, police said.
Both suspects were described as Hispanic men with Spanish accents, according to police. One of the suspects stood about 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighed about 140 pounds and wore a black ski mask that concealed the bottom half of his face, police said.

The other suspect was described as standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds, and wore a black ski mask, black hoodie and dark pants, according to police.
In addition to the robbery, police are also continuing to investigate a recent attempted burglary and a suspicious circumstance.
The attempted burglary happened around 9:15 a.m. Friday, when a female resident reported a suspect tried to get in her home in the 400 block of Cascades Court with a pry tool, police said. When she opened the blinds, the suspect fled south toward the Morgan Hill Community Park.
The suspect was described as a male standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build. He wore a black beanie with holes over his eyes and mouth, black or blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt, according to police.
A neighbor reported a dark-colored SUV was seen leaving the area around the time of the interrupted burglary, according to police.
Officers responded to the scene and searched for the suspect without success, police said.
On Thursday shortly after 6:30 a.m., a person living in the 17000 block of Tassajara Circle saw a person in their backyard and notified police. Officers went to the home but couldn't find the suspect, who was described as a dark-skinned male in black and gray clothes, according to police.
