Saratoga's Sent Sovi Restaurant Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Chef and owner Josiah Slone manages popular eatery with help of wife Khin Khin; new wine lounge and outdoor patio among attractions.
Sent Sovi restaurant, 14583 Big Basin Way, is celebrating its "tin" 10-year anniversary this month with food, wine and friendships.
Since 2003, the popular eatery has been under the direction of chef and owner Josiah Slone.
The restaurant was founded in 1995 by award-winning Chef David Kinch, now proprietor and head chef at Michelin star-rated Manresa restaurant in Los Gatos.

The restaurant's food is French California style.
Slone’s 10-year retrospective tasting menu features a popular dish from each year since 2003.

Highlights include dishes such as:
- 48 Hour Braised Shortrib “Wellington” with Braised Fennel
- Duck Croque Monsieur w/Butter Roasted Tomato “Ketchup”
- Porcini Mushroom Soup with Crème Fraiche (Old Version)
Helping Chef Slone run the restaurant is wife Khin Khin, who recently had a baby, and is now managing the dining room, he said.
The restaurant features a new wine lounge behind the restaurant with an adjacent patio that will open during the warmer months, he added.
