Saratoga Sheriff's Arrests: 2 St. Patrick's Day DUIs

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's arrests for Saratoga for March 4-17, 2013. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

  • Gilberto Frausto, 21, of San Jose, 1 p.m. March 14, at Pierce and Saratoga-Sunnyvale roads, for felony first-degree burglary.

Possession

  • Fred Talamini, 51, of San Jose, 5:45 a.m. March 17, at Fruitvale and Saratoga avenues in Saratoga, for misdemeanor using/being under the influence of a controlled substance and felony possession of a controlled substance.

DUI

  • Armando Ortiz, 37, of San Jose, 5:15 p.m. March 17, on southbound Highway 85 and the Saratoga Avenue on-ramp in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving under the influence, failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle, failure to appear, driving while unlicensed and DUI. Bail set at $15,000.
  • Matthew Bell, 48, of Campbell, 8:20 p.m. March 17, at Prospect Road and Titus Avenue in Saratoga, for DUI.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • John Green, 25, of San Jose, 12:55 p.m. Feb. 10, at Saratoga and Cox avenues in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Erich Breger, 52, of Boulder Creek, 7:56 a.m. Feb. 15, at Highway 9 and Booker Creek in Saratoga, for two infractions related to driving without due caution and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Adrian Fulcher, 38, of Sunnyvale, 9:05 p.m. March 1, at Saratoga and Cox avenues in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Arnulfo Valencia, 42, of San Jose, 9:45 a.m. Jan. 1, at Quito Road and Bucknall Avenue in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and misdemeanor suspended license.
  • Manuel Ramos Morfin, 36, of San Jose, 4:44 a.m. March 7, at Saratoga Avenue and Kosich Drive in Saratoga, for misdemeanor citations for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Daniel Chavez, 31, of Los Gatos, 11:50 p.m. Sept. 24, 2012, on Big Basin Way and Congress Springs in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and two infractions for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and an expired registration.
