Saratoga Sheriff's Arrests: Teen Causes $50K Vandalism Damage

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's arrests for Saratoga Nov. 17-30, 2012. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Peter Aguilar, 32, of San Jose, 5:15 a.m. Sept. 30, at Prospect Road and Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and an infraction for not having tail-lamp or separate lamp to illuminate rear license plate.
  • Brian Robby, 28, of Paradise, 1:40 p.m. Sept. 23, at Saratoga and Cox avenues in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked, and two infractions for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and a defective windshield or window.
  • Omar Lopez, 20, of Santa Nella, 5:40 p.m. Nov. 6, at Highway 85 and Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and driving a motor vehicle at any time when that person’s driving privilege is suspended or revoked and that person has knowledge of the suspension or revocation.
  • Pablo Martinez Cruz, 25, of San Jose, 3:05 p.m. Sept. 28, at Pollard and More roads in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and misdemeanor having a suspended license.
  • Douglas Heeter, 54, of Los Gatos, 5:22 p.m. Nov. 7, at Saratoga Sunnyvale and Pierce roads in Saratoga, for an infraction due to having an open container while driving and misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Edward Adams, 26, of San Jose, 2:28 a.m. Nov. 28, at Prospect Road and Lawrence Expressway in Saratoga, for misdemeanor possession of marijuana in vehicle. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Anthony Ramirez, 31, of San Jose, 11:20 a.m. Nov. 8, at Saratoga Avenue and Highway 85 in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

Under the Influence

  • Kelly Clark, 29, of Willits, 7:45 a.m. Nov. 23, at Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road in Saratoga, for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substance. Bail set at $250.

  • Jared Vallner, 18, of Los Altos Hills, 2 a.m. Nov. 24, at 18717 Metler Court in Saratoga, for felony vandalism due to damages more than $50,000, misdemeanor falsely representing or identifying himself to a peace officer and misdemeanor throwing substance at vehicle. Bail set at $12,000.

Burglary

  • John Gniapek, 52, of Los Altos, 5:40 p.m. Nov. 27, at Cox Road in Saratoga, for felony first-degree burglary. Bail set at $10,000.
