The family of Saratoga High School student Audrie Pott, 15, who committed suicide Sept. 10, 2012, spoke for the first time publicly Monday during a news conference at the Radisson Hotel in San Jose.
They allege three boys who went to school with the girl sexually assaulted her after she consumed too much alcohol with Gatorade at a party during Labor Day weekend Sept. 2, 2012 and that at least one photograph was taken of the incident.
Those involved then distributed the inappropriate image in person and via text messages to students at Saratoga High School, said family attorney Robert Allard.
