Video: Sushi Heaven in Saratoga!

Sushi Heaven opened at the Park Saratoga shopping center Nov. 14 under the ownership of Korean nationals Mi Young Huh and Jin Huh.

Located at 12108 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd., the elegant restaurant has a seating capacity of about 60 and it's seen a modest amount of customers since it opened its doors, said manager Angela Hur.

A large sign outside the new establishment announces a 20 percent discount for new customers.

Husband Jin Huh was busy cutting fresh delicious raw fish for his patrons Tuesday evening.

He explained he chose the shopping center due to its good location and great neighbors, which include Stewart Title, Park Saratoga Dental, Peet's Coffee & Tea and Chicago Title, among others.

Huh's brother owns a pizzeria in Carmel and he emigrated with wife Mi Young from Seoul, Korea in 2001.

The restaurant employs two sushi men, three kitchen workers and eight waiters. Its hours of operation are 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 5-9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 5-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 5-9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Dining at the new Japanese-American style eatery was Saratoga dentist J.J. Salehieh, wife Ellery Salehieh and children Talon, 7; Tevin, 5 and Taytum, 3.
