Vigil Tonight For Missing Saratoga Man
Relatives of Eric Dean Garcia are hoping and praying for his safe return; he was last seen the evening of Sept. 18 in downtown San Jose.
There will be a candlelight vigil tonight, Tuesday Oct. 2, at Sacred Heart Church in San Jose to mark the two-week disappearance of Saratogan Eric Dean Garcia, a.k.a. Pee-Ka, believed to have vanished Sept. 18.
The service will begin at 7 p.m. at the Catholic parish located at 325 Willow St., and the public is being asked to wear a white T-shirt and blue jeans in honor of the 32-year-old man who was last seen in downtown San Jose visiting friends in the vicinity of Goodyear and Vine streets.
"Our goal is to find Eric and this gathering is to help bring light to his disappearance so please be focused on that when you come," Garcia's family wrote on the Facebook page created to bring attention to his case.

According to his family, he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, Levis, a black leather biker vest, black-and-white Vans shoes and was riding his 1985 black Harley Davidson motorcycle with the license plate 18W5272.
His relatives posted on the page that they have notified the San Jose Police Department and local news stations about the gathering and are hoping for more exposure about the disappearance.

On Sept. 28, his family posted that they're checking with CHP officials, hospitals and jails daily in the hopes of finding him.
His missing-person flyer says he has a Harley-Davidson symbol tattoo on the back of his head. It also describes him at being 5-foot-10 and weighing 350 pounds.
