LACROSSE: Scotts Valley Bests Aptos

Falcons top Mariners behind Koenig, Curtis and Corbella.

The Scotts Valley High School Varsity Lacrosse team beat Aptos High 11-6 on Friday night in an aggressive Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League game held at Aptos High.  

Wesley Koenig led the offensive attack with four goals and one assist.  Mitchell Curtis and Collin Corbella each tallied two goals and one assist in the Falcons win.

 Robbie McClure, Cole Deblock and Joel Claussen all added goals of their own for the visitors.

The Falcons defense stepped up and shut down the opposing attack. Several quick clears led to offensive chances at the other end of the pitch.  Top defender Cole Deblock put a bow on the road triumph with a coast to coast score for his first goal of the season that came late in the second half.
